Greyton MTB Classic
YEARLY EVENT - PLEASE CONTACT US FOR DATES

The Greyton MTB Classic just keeps getting better every year and definitely not to be missed. You can choose to cycle or to run across the farms in the heart of the countryside surrounding Greyton, in the Overberg. Magnificent private farms at the foot of the Sonderend Mountain Range, are accessible only for this event. The farmers are working hard at cutting more singletrack through the pineforest. The terrain is varied, from steep rocky uphills and sharp fast technical downhills. Best to sharpen up for this challenge - its tough, but spectacular and well worth your effort.

The 25km route gets to enjoy all the same great routes as the 45km, excluding a few of the steep climbs. Thule will have a festive waterpoint on top of a hill which is a light aircraft landing strip. This will be the 25km and 45km split. Tractor ride available from the venue to take spectators up to one of the dams so that they can watch the cyclists. GENADENDAL YEARLY MTB MISSION AND TRAIL RUN

Come and experience Genadendal’s History, hospitality and awesome trails at the yearly MTB Mission 48km challenge, 23km fun ride and 10 & 21km Trail Run. Join us at the starting point at the Genadendal Church Square, 5kms before Greyton, for a day of enjoyment or maybe a weekend in the beautiful Greyton Village, only 1 ½ hours away from Cape Town. Our focus is on awesome routes, well stocked water points and a relaxing weekend away for the whole family. The 23km route only has about 300m of climbing and not too many technical sections. The 48km ride is much more of a challenge with lots of climbing, technical descents and a gauntlet past the spectators in Greyton!

Bring your family and friends, stroll through the village square, enjoy the local fare and watch the Brass Band!

Yearly during the month of November, please enquire.
