Greyton is located on the R406.

Driving from Cape Town on the N2, about 8 kilometers before reaching Caledon, there is a turn-off to the left indicated by a board (Greyton / Genadendal) on the R406.

The R406 leads right into Greyton - the distance is approximately 120 kilometres from Cape Town and from the turn-off approximately 36 kilometers.
