Stay in one of our lovingly restored self-catering cottages and enjoy peaceful walks, beautiful scenery and the charm of a working farm around you.  It is the perfect place for hiking, mountain biking, splashing in the river, swimming in the weir or just relaxing in beautiful surroundings and reading a book.

For the younger children, there is a play area with swings, a large jungle gym and a trampoline.  For teens, there is a games room with table tennis, snooker and foosball.

Elandskloof also provides a spectacular setting for your wedding.  The wedding packages offer you the exclusive use of the whole farm as a venue as well as accommodation for the bridal couple and their guests. The elegantly appointed self-catering cottages can accommodate up to 100 of your guests. 

The beautiful grassy areas next to the weirs offer a lovely serene setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony, morning tea or picnics. The surrounding forested area provides a magical setting for a more informal outdoor summer reception.

The Stone Barn function venue can comfortably hold up to 160 guests (although 200 guests can be accommodated by prior arrangement) and has an adjoining area which is ideal for an indoor ceremony. The Barn provides everything needed for your function, including a comprehensive catering kitchen and cold room.

Both Riverside Cottages and the Thatched Cottages have their own undercover boma areas which are ideally suited for smaller events such as special birthday celebrations or family gatherings.

Accomodation Rates and Booking Procedures:

Willow Cottage: (3 Bedrooms, sleeps 6-8 guests) @ R3 600 per night – 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 with 2 singles and a bunkbed in walk through study area.  Two of the bedrooms are en-suite, 3rd with a full bathroom and guest loo.

Thatched Cottages No’s 1-4: (2 bedrooms, each sleeping 4 guests) @ R1 850 per night.  Bedroom 1 with queen bed and en-suite bathroom and Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds and en-suite bathroom.

Thatched Cottages No’s 2-5: (1 bedroom and loft, sleeping 6 guests each) @ R1 950 per night, Bedroom 1 with queen bed and en-suite bathroom, 2 single beds in the loft (steep ladder to the loft), bunkbed in an open area and a second full bathroom.

Thatched Cottage No 3: 2 sleeper bachelor cottage (1 bedroom, sleeps 2 guests) @ R1 100 per night, open plan sleeping and living area with queen bed and separate bathroom.

Thatched Cottages 6,7,8 & 9: (3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 guests) @ R2 600 per night, bedroom 1 with queen bed and en-suite bathroom, Bedroom 2 with queen bed, Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds.  Second full bathroom – shared

Riverside Cottages 1-5: (Studio units upstairs and 2Bedroom units downstairs) :

Riverside Upstairs Studio Units: (sleeps 2 each) @ R1000 per night, open plan bachelor style unit with queen bed and separate bathroom.

Riverside Downstairs units: (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4-6 guests) @ R1 900 per night, Bedroom 1 with queen bed, Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds and Bunkbed in open plan living area.

Book top and bottom units together at discounted combinate rate of R2 750 per night.  Please note that braai facilities for the Riverside cottages are at the boma areas only.

Kloof Lodge Accommodation:

Kloof Lodge can accommodate 20-32 guests (depending on how you use the rooms) and consists of 2 x free standing rondavel rooms and 8 x lodge rooms.  The kitchen and living/dining areas are open plan.  Cost of the lodge is R12 000 per night (minimum stay of 2 nights).  For extra nights, the rate will be R6000 per night.

50% Deposit payable via internet transfer, to secure the booking and balance due 3 days prior to arrival.  No cash, cheques, debit or credit cards accepted.
